Gray Line Phoenix operates new and late-model Prevost & Van Hool motor coaches. Passengers are pampered by luxuriously comfortable, adjustable seats and maximum-visibility tinted windows. For your convenience, each coach is equipped with a video player and strategically located video monitors, restrooms and individual reading lights. Cellular telephones are provided to our drivers for safety and two-way communication. Air conditioning and heating operates quietly with electronically-regulated cross-flow ventilation that delivers uniform temperature throughout the cabin.

Our motor coach passenger seating is elevated to provide unobstructed viewing for our passengers through tinted windows which extend into the roof. Luggage handling is carefully engineered, with 360 cubic feet of illuminated, non-partitioned cargo space. Personal luggage space is available in overhead racks. Under-seat luggage space will accommodate individual-size coolers. We offer coaches that are fully ADA accessible. Seating capacity varies from 25-passengers in our mini-buses, to 58-passengers in our full size coaches.

To assure your trip departs on the safest and most reliable equipment possible, Gray Line Phoenix operates our own state-of-the-art maintenance facilities including eight indoor service bays and a staff of fully trained mechanics. Our facility is staffed 24 hours per day, and supervisors are available via cellular phone at all times.

Our preventive maintenance is routinely tracked on mileage, and it incorporates the mileage-based inspections mandated by the United States Department of Transportation (DOT).

Gray Line Phoenix provides insurance coverage which exceeds the US Department of Transportation requirements. It also exceeds the requirements of the State of Arizona for transporting students. We are insured and certified to operate into Mexico as well. If desired, we can provide your group with a Certificate of Insurance.

Gray Line Phoenix drivers are carefully selected. Each applicant undergoes extensive classroom training prior to getting behind the wheel of one of our motor coaches. Drivers are only selected after background checks and driving records have been evaluated. All our drivers hold Commercial Driver Licenses (CDL) and are in compliance with all physical fitness, range of motion, and substance abuse requirements stipulated for the CDL.

Our drivers are professionals. We have a full time Safety Director who makes periodic driver performance observations in the field. Every driver, mechanic, sales person and manager at Gray Line Phoenix makes Safety, the Environment and Customer Service a top priority.

We scrupulously comply with federal guidelines for daily and weekly driver work hours. Drivers return their logs with their charter orders, and the logs are checked by the Safety department to determine whether they meet Gray Line's accuracy standards.
